Warehouse software for 3PLs

The warehouse system for 3PLs, built around your P&L.

Run the floor, bill every activity and give each client a bill they can check, all in one system. Receiving, the floor, shipping, billing and a client portal share one set of data, so every activity is billed and every margin is visible.

The problem

How much of last month’s work never made it onto an invoice?

Work nobody billed

Re-labels, oversize packages, inserts, project hours. If nothing in the price list matches, it’s done for free.

Margin by client is a guess

Billing is pieced together at month-end from exports and spreadsheets, so nobody sees which clients actually make money.

Clients question the bill

A total with no trail behind it turns questions into disputes, and disputes hold up payment.

What ShipSKU does

One system for the whole 3PL.

The owner, the floor and every client work from the same records, so nothing gets re-keyed and nothing slips through at month-end.

For the owner

See unbilled work and margin by client before the month closes.

  • Unbilled work is surfaced while there’s still time to bill it: finished work that no price rule caught.
  • Margin by client: what each brand was billed against the labor, space and postage it took.
  • Only you see this. Your clients never see your costs or margin.

Billing

Missed charges become rules. Price changes are tested first.

  • Every activity is priced as it happens. Work no rule covers is flagged, with a suggested rule.
  • One click bills it, and next time it bills itself.
  • Test a price change on last month’s real volume before you send the client a notice.
  • Storage priced the way 3PLs charge for it, by the pallet by default.

On the floor

Runs on a phone or iPad with a Bluetooth scanner.

  • One instruction at a time: go here, scan this, put it in that tote.
  • A wrong scan is stopped before it ships.
  • The pack station picks the box, weighs it, photographs and films the pack, and finds the best label rate.
  • Time is captured as people work, for billing and payroll. It runs in the browser, so there’s no app to install.

For your clients

A bill your clients can check for themselves.

  • A live bill all month, with the reason behind every line.
  • A disputed line is held on its own, so the rest of the bill gets paid.
  • Proof for every order: the pack photos and video.
  • You choose what each client sees. Never your costs, carrier discounts or margin.

Getting there safely

No big-bang switch. Start with a few clients.

  1. Connect

We link to the system you run today, through Trackstar, a service that connects to the major 3PL systems.

  2. Run side by side

A few clients move first. Everyone else carries on exactly as today.

  3. Move client by client

Only as it proves itself, with each client told what’s changing.

  4. One system

The whole operation in ShipSKU, connected to QuickBooks or Xero.

We do the setup work. Your team keeps shipping, and nothing moves until it works for the clients already on it.

Who we are

An operator and a software founder.

David Legisima

Operations & partnerships

Founded and ran a multi-client, multi-location e-commerce logistics company for over fifteen years, on WMS and billing software he designed because nothing off the shelf understood how a 3PL makes money. Three-time Inc. 5000. Sold in 2025.

Kalvin Mizzi

Product & technology

Founder of SKU.io, the operations platform ecommerce brands use to run inventory and orders. It already connects to the major 3PL systems.

Where we are

We’re building ShipSKU with five founding 3PLs.

There’s a working prototype today, and we build the pilot with our founding partners over the winter, so their workflows go into the product from the start. If you run a 3PL and want to hear more, David would be glad to talk.
